DEVILS HOCKEY
Online Registration Now Available!
Please read important Registration Information below before registering your child.

Why Choose DEVILS HOCKEY for your child?
The Devils Hockey Program is a program for those looking to provide their child a strong, family atmosphere where players learn to grow both on and off ice through on-ice skills sessions, on-ice practices and off-ice instruction.  Players become part of a team coached by passionate volunteers, who strive to develop a love for the game, while developing life-long values such as sportsmanship, commitment, responsibility, self-growth and respect for coaches and teammates. .
We hope you will consider joining our program.  With over a 90% retention rate, year over year, we feel we offer a very strong program for your child to play this great sport of hockey. You will not find a better program in the area.

2021-2022 Season
Numbers for the new season indicate that we will return with the same number of teams at each level next season!  The breakdown of teams by level is expected to be 3-4 Midget/3 Bantam/4 Pee Wee/4 Squirt and 4 Mite!  We are very pleased that our program has grown to this size and we are able to continue to provide your children with a great, family oriented, community based, competitive program.  Our players have enjoyed much success, with teams advancing at all levels to playoffs and State Tournaments! This speaks volumes to the success of what we have accomplished in the past 12 seasons.  We hope you will continue to support Devils Hockey.  Together we can continue to develop many fine young players into mature, responsible High School adults.

Roster sizes will be kept reasonable to allow for balanced teams where players receive equal ice time in a competitive environment that is appropriate for their skill level.

Devils Youth Hockey has put together an evaluation program intended to provide all players with an equal opportunity to exhibit their hockey skills. Its purpose is to evaluate a player's skating ability, hockey skills, hockey knowledge and commitment to teamwork.  Our goal is to place each player within a team that provides the best environment for improving their self-confidence and enjoyment of the sport of ice hockey.

We know you have many questions, so the below information is being provided to help you prepare for Devils’ registration and evaluations.  Additional information for the Evaluation Process, Uniforms and Program Specifics can be found on the Devils website.

What’s included for the 2021-2022 Season?
Our full season tuitions, from Mite A to Bantam age, will include approximately 25-30 games a season and 2-3 weekly on ice practices. Midgets will run a half season from September - November with 2 on ice practices per week.
Bantam Teams may or may not run as 2 “half” seasons, being August-November and December-March or one “full” season, August – March.  This will be determined by the league we play in. Price is the same with either structure.
Midget and Bantam teams will be provided APT Off Ice Conditioning as part of their registration.
In addition we will be offering on-ice skills instruction.  Goalies are offered goalie specific instruction as well as goalie discounts and/or opportunities for additional play.

Bantams - $1945.00 ($150.00 due with registration)

Mite A - $1945.00 ($150.00 due with registration)
Mite B, Mite C and potential Mighty Mites - $1145.00 ($150.00 due with registration)

Mite age players who have not played hockey prior, and who are registering for the Devils Mighty Mite program, do not need to attend an evaluation to be placed on a Fall Mighty Mite team, however players must register so that roster assignments can be planned.

Evaluation “Fee” Information
All participants are evaluated and placed on a Devils Hockey Team so therefore, we do not call this process a “tryout” or charge a “tryout fee”.  Your registration payment of $150.00 is your first payment for the season’s tuition.  If you decide that you do not wish your child to play for the Devils you will forfeit the $150.00 registration fee.  The $150.00 registration fee is refundable only if your child does not participate in any evaluation.

Roster Size:
The Devils Hockey Board of Directors is determined to keep the roster numbers on each team reasonable.  Our goal is to roster at least 3 teams at Squirt and Mite - Bantam levels.  Our Midget level will roster 3-4 half season teams. This allows for balanced teams where players receive equal ice time in a competitive environment that is appropriate for their skill level.

In addition to on-ice practices, our older divisions partner with APT Conditioning. Goalies are offered goalie specific instruction and a discounted registration fee to be determined after placement.

League Information
Devil teams play in leagues both in Massachusetts and in Rhode Island.  Below provides links to each of their websites.

Premier Hockey League
South Coast League
Foxboro Sports Center: Middle School League
Metro South Conference South Hockey League

Mite Development Programs
The Mite division follows the American Development Model (ADM), created by USA Hockey.  The Mite Developmental Teams have approximately 20 cross ice games and 2 practices each week.  This program is focused on new hockey players, new to the sport and those who may have only played 1-2 years.  Devils Hockey plans to also have three Mite teams (A, B and C level).  We anticipate our B & C Mite teams to play in the South Coast Hockey League and our A level to play full ice in the PHL League. This development system allows children to progress from the beginner program to more competitive league teams.

Middle School Hockey
Our Middle School teams participate in the Foxboro Sports Center Junior High School League and are offered approximately 23 games each season and a rotating coach’s practice.  The Devils members are offered a substantial discount when they choose to play on a Middle School team as a second team. New this season, the North Attleborough Middle School team will be open to North Attleborough residents only.  We will in addition, roster an Attleboro Middle School Team.  Each town has their own Middle School Team and if you are looking for a contact for your town, please reach out to devilsyouthhockey@comcast.net to obtain. A new and separate jersey is required for the Middle School Teams.

Uniforms
The program tuition does not include the Devils game uniforms. Uniforms consist of personalized home and away game jerseys and matching socks.
Those new to the program will need to purchase a complete game uniform.  Cost for the uniform is charged separately.  Information may be found on the Devils Website.

DEVILS Hockey requires a BLACK helmet and BLACK pants as a part of their uniform.  Please keep this in mind as you update your child’s equipment.  Helmet decals will be provided.  Practice jerseys are also provided by the association at the start of the season.

Goalies - Discounted Fees!
Anyone showing interest in playing goalie is encouraged to consider trying it on a full-time basis.  This is a great opportunity for any player who thinks they might want to give it a try.  Not only will they play for their rostered team, but in many cases there will be opportunities for additional ice time at no extra cost.  If multiple goalies are rostered on one team, a generous discount is provided.
