WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER!!!

Good evening North Sports Group supporters:

We send a big thank you to all those who were able to attend last night’s RTM meeting.  We also thank those who were able to forward emails, post a message to Facebook accounts, and to those who called to wish us good luck.  With that said, the low we felt when we heard our year and a half long efforts would not come to a vote in front of the RTM is indescribable.  However, the support you displayed by exiting the auditorium when the disappointing news was presented sent a powerful message to the RTM which has kept the flame burning!  And…with the assistance of some key people, and Tim Tebow’s divine intervention, our articles were postponed for hearing until January 25^th!

So, what does this mean?

WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER!!! We are so grateful for the 60 to 70 supporters who came to the Middle School last night to show in person their commitment to the idea and the project.  We now need 600 to 700 supporters to attend!  When we hear of injuries to young athletes due to facilities not being used for their proper purpose (i.e. soccer, instead of lunch), we are inspired to keep pushing.  When we hear parents say they divide and conquer all day on a Saturday, because they are in and out of many different sports facilities all over the region, we are inspired to keep pushing.  When we envision a Saturday afternoon of pickup hockey, soccer, or basketball with our kids in a clean and safe environment, we are inspired to keep pushing.  Now, we need you to push with us!!!

What can you do?:

1)      Please contact your local RTM member to share your voice of support for the sports complex (http://north-attleboro.ma.us/clerk/PDF/rtmlist.pdf)

2)      Please join us on Wednesday, January 25^th, to visibly show your support.  This meeting will be at the Middle School at 7 PM.

3)      Please forward this email to those who may have an interest in this project
