NEW NORTH ATTLEBORO SPORTS FACILITY!

2011-12-17

Please read the letter below as we need your help! Please pass along the letter, or post on Facebook, to any North Attleboro contacts that you may have that could benefit from the sports complex.

As many of you may already know, the North Sports Group, LLC is attempting to build a community based sports facility in North Attleboro.  The principals of the North Sports Group are local North residents who have kids in the North sports programs, and the land we have identified is located at 344 John L Dietsch Blvd in the industrial park.  This site will allow us to have a main entrance off of John L Dietsch Blvd and an ancillary entrance off of Landry Ave.  The commissioned traffic study reported 87% of the traffic will flow through John L Dietsch Blvd.  Approximately, 13% will flow through Landry Ave onto John L Dietsch Blvd, or directly into a small parking lot via Landry Ave.  Parking areas will not be connected, so you will exit the same way you entered.

Our plan calls for a full size indoor turf field (360’x210’) (soccer, football, lacrosse, baseball, cricket, etc.) and two NHL sized hockey rinks.  We hope to also offer ancillary businesses, such as karate, gymnastics, and athletic training, just to name a few.

To make this dream a reality, we need you to join us at the following town meetings to show and to potentially voice your support.
