Some DEVILS HOCKEY Updates!
2017-12-04
Dear Devils Families,
As December falls upon us, so do the busy schedules of hockey along with Holiday shopping, Holiday parties and more!
Please keep in mind that practices and games do keep on going! Hockey doesn’t stop! Schedules will continue through December 23rd! After that, you will get a break for you to enjoy your families and the holidays. No practices or games will take place from December 24 – December 31st, other than Winter Skate for some teams. Hopefully you will find time to enjoy a much needed vacation, or a “staycation” enjoying family.
Until December 23rd, the commitment of players and families is important. Please make every effort to attend all and give 100%. We will return to start the second half of the season on Monday, January 1st.
Look for skate clinics being offered by the DEVILS over the vacation. Plans are currently being made to host Pro Ambitions “on ice” clinics for Mites, Squirt, Pee Wees and Bantams on Tuesday evening, December 26th.
Please be reminded that all players are to be wearing the required neckguards and mouthguards. It is only for your child’s safety that we ask for your cooperation with this.
All team photos have been processed and are in the process of being distributed by team admins. We hope you are pleased with your photos – I saw some GREAT smiles amongst them!
Congratulations to our DEVILS Squirt Black team for winning their game vs SWS to proceed to the State Championship Game in March. They currently hold the title of MASS DISTRICT 5 CHAMPIONS! It was a great game played by all. Hats off to Nico Woelfel who scored a HATRRICK and to goaltender Domenic Bertino who played a stellar game in net.
One quick reminder to our families – we ask for our families to NOT take up team collections for coaches or admin gifts for the Holidays. If families wish to purchase a gift on their own for these volunteers you are WELCOME to and it’s appreciated. However, we do not wish to have any team collections taking place during this busy and sometimes stressful time of year. We do ask at the end of the season for all to contribute to year end gifts for our volunteers, so save your generosity for then. A note of thanks from players and/or parents can go a long way if you wish to show appreciation…
Please take a minute to register for any upcoming P-Bruins games, Providence College games or playdown games that are requested of you. Promptness in registering makes it a lot easier for those of us behind the scenes trying to keep things organized for everyone. J
That’s it for now… Wishing you a very happy holiday season… Just 3 weeks away and another Christmas in the books… Take time to ENJOY cuz it goes by WAYYYY to fast!
GO DEVILS!!!
