Why Choose the North Devils Hockey Program for your Child?
The North Devils Hockey Program is a program for those looking to provide their child a strong, family atmosphere where players learn to grow both on and off ice through on-ice skills sessions, on-ice practices and off-ice instruction. Players become part of a team coached by passionate volunteers, who strive to develop a love for the game, while developing life-long values such as sportsmanship, commitment, responsibility, self-growth and respect for coaches and teammates. You will not find a better program in the area.
Next season, 2016-2017 our new ‘Home” will be the New England Sports Village! After remaining strong since our start in 2004, The North Devils Hockey program has overcome the difficult task of securing ice at local rinks, year after year. In Fall of 2016, we can finally say we have a “home”. Practices and home games will be played at this new, state of the art facility, located off of Rt. 95 in Attleboro, MA. This new facility can only improve what we are able to provide to our players with an anticipated 2 on-ice practices per week.

2016-2017 Season
It is hard to believe another season is upon us! With end of year celebrations and banquets right around the corner, we are excited to announce our 2016-2017 North Devils season information!
Numbers for the new season indicate that we will roster a minimum 3 teams at our Pee Wee, Squirt and Mite levels and 2 at the Bantam and Midget levels. We are very pleased that our program has grown to this size and we are able to continue to provide your children with a great, family oriented, community based, competitive Town Program. Our players have enjoyed much success, with 1 teams advancing to the State Tournament this year, and 3 others advancing to the final playoff round! This speaks volumes to the success of what we have accomplished in the past 11 seasons. We hope you will continue to support the North Devils. Together we can continue to develop many fine young players into mature, responsible High School adults.
North Devils Youth Hockey has put together an evaluation program intended to provide all players with an equal opportunity to exhibit their hockey skills. Its purpose is to evaluate a player's skating ability, hockey skills, hockey knowledge and commitment to teamwork. Our goal is to place him or her within a team that provides the best environment for improving their self-confidence and enjoyment of the sport of ice hockey.
We know you have many questions, so the below information is being provided to help you prepare for Devils’ registration and evaluations. Additional information for the Evaluation Process, Uniforms and Program Specifics can be found on the Devils website.
What’s included for the 2016-17 Season?
Our full season tuitions, from Mite A to Bantamt age, will include approximately 25-30 games a season, and 2 weekly on ice practices. Midget will run half season September - November with 2 on ice practices per week.
Our teams will be provided additional opportunities to attend off-ice skills with the DAJ Skillz Center and our goalies are offered an 8 week session for no cost at Stop It Goaltending in Foxboro, as well as goalie discounts and/or opportunities for additional play.
Midgets - $895.00 ($295.00 due with registration)
Bantams - $1595.00 ($320.00 due with registration)
Pee Wees - $1595.00 ($320.00 due with registration)
Squrts - $1595.00 ($320.00 due with registration)
Middle School Only - $795.00 ($295.00 due tih registration)
Depending on which team a mite player is assigned once evaluations are complete, the pricing is different. All players will register as a mite ($995.00) and pricing will be adjusted following team assignements.
Mite A - $1595.00 ($295.00 due with registration)
Mite B and Mite C - $1095.00 ($295.00 due with registration)
Mighty Mites - $995.00 ($295.00 due with registration) - NO evaluation necessary. Only 48 available spots. Register early!
Roster Size:
The board is determined to keep the roster numbers on each team reasonable. Their goal is to roster at least 3 teams at each Pee Wee, Squirt and Mite age group, 2 at the Bantam level and new this year, 1 to 2 half season Midget Teams! This allows for balanced teams where players receive equal ice time in a competitive environment that is appropriate for their skill level.
Practice Information:
Practice locations vary and are determined by ice availability. The North Devils Program currently uses rinks located within a half hour radius. In the 2016-2017 we will be fortunate to be able to call the new
New England Sports Village our “home”. Additional ice may be utilized from other local rinks as well.
In addition to on-ice practices, North Devils offers sessions at DAJ Skillz, an off-ice facility located at the Foxboro Sport Center in Foxboro, owned and operated by Olympian and NHL hockey player, David Jensen. Goalies are offered discounted sessions at Stop It Goaltending in Foxboro.

Squirt - Birthyear 2006-2007
Pee Wee - Birthyear 2004-2005
Bantam - Birthyear 2002-2003
Midgets – Birthyear 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001

Middle School - players in grades 6, 7, 8 (school year 2016-17)
Evaluation Dates:
ALL Players must be pre-registered by March 10, 2016 to attend an evaluation.
All children that participate in the evaluation process are placed on a team.
All children that would like to play for the North Devils in the fall MUST attend an evaluation. (This does not apply to our Mighty Mite House League).
Full equipment must be worn. Children may be asked to return for a second evaluation.
Teams and rosters will be determined based on age, participation numbers and evaluations.
Mighty Mites (1st Year Players) – Your child does not need to attend an evaluation. This is a registration only program. Space is limited to first 48 players so register quickly.

Where do I register?
Registration will be available on the North Devils website. Complete your registration using the
2016-17 Registration tab in the left-hand column of the home page. All the information is provided. Players must pre-registered in order to participate in evaluations.
Payment Methods - The North Devils registration payments are now handled through PayPal. Credit card payments can be a form of payment with no additional processing fees. Payments may be structured into installments.
Pay in Full Discount! Save $75.00 when you choose offline payment at time of registration. Make payment IN FULL by cash or check to North Devils Hockey prior to March 10th. This opportunity will only be made available until March 10th and payment must be received for your child to participate in the North Devils Evaluation process.

Mite and Mighty Mite Development Programs
The Mighty Mite division follows the American Development Model (ADM), created by USA Hockey. Mighty Mites has approximately 20 cross ice games and 2 practices each week. This program is focused on new hockey players that are just starting out in the game of hockey. These players need not attend an evaluation. Simply register your child for the Mighty Mite Program. This program is limited to the first 48 registrants. Register quickly!
The Devils plan to also have three Mite teams (A, B and C level). We anticipate the A team playing in the SNEHC League out of Rhode Island. We anticipate the Mite B and Mite C teams to participate in a league hosted out of the New England Sports Village. This development system allows children to progress from the Mighty Mite program to more competitive league teams.
North Attleboro Middle School Hockey
Our North Attleboro Middle School teams participate in the Foxboro Sports Center Junior High School League and are offered approximately 23 games each season and 1 weekly coach’s practice. North Devils members are offered a substantial discount when they choose to play on a North Attleboro Middle School team as a second team.
Uniforms:
The program tuition does not include North Devils game uniforms. Uniforms consist of personalized home and away game jerseys and matching socks. Those new to the program will need to purchase a complete game uniform. Cost for the uniform is due with the child’s registration.
Mighty Mite uniforms consist of a lightweight jersey and a pair of red socks.
North Hockey requires a BLACK helmet and BLACK pants as a part of their uniform. Please keep this in mind as you update your child’s equipment. Helmet decals will be provided. Practice jerseys are also provided by the association at the start of the season.
The uniform coordinator will be at all evaluations to handle sizing and all uniform orders.
Goalies:
Anyone showing interest in playing goalie is encouraged to consider trying it on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for any player who thinks they might want to give it a try. Not only will they play for their rostered team, but in many cases there will be opportunities for additional ice time at no extra cost. If multiple goalies are rostered on one team, a generous discount is provided. INCLUDED in the registration fee for the 2016-2017 season, is an
8 week session at Stop It Goaltending at the Foxboro Rink. This is in addition to the two practices that will be held weekly. Professional training is provided by Jim McNiff. Jim is the goaltending coach for the 2015 National Champion Providence College Friars. He and his staff work closely with the players on goalie specific skills in a relaxed and fun environment. This is the premier goalie specific training facility in the area.

One Team Goalie - $1595.00 plus an 8 week Stop It Goaltending Session at no additional cost.
Two Team Goalies - $1395.00 per goalie plus an 8 week Stop It Goaltending Session at no additional cost.
Goaltending opportunities on additional teams are at no cost - For example, a player can play full time net for a Bantam team and play net on a MS team for no additional cost or a player can skate out on one team and play net for another team for the cost of only one team. Discounts:
- Goalie fees will be determined based on the number of goalies placed on a team.
- A 10% Sibling discount is offered to a 2nd child in the program.
- Special “paid in full” discounts also exist
Discounts do not apply to Midget, Middle School, Mite B, Mite C or Mighty Mite fees….more information is provided when you register online
Those who qualify for a sibling discount will be provided a sibling "discount code". Please contact northhockey@comcast.net.
Fundraising:
Please note that ALL North Devils players will be required to participate in one of our “canning” fundraising events scheduled mid-season. These fundraising events help bring exposure to our program as well as generate necessary funds to help offset costs of our program. If you prefer NOT to participate in this fundraising event, you have the option of paying a $50.00 fundraising fee. This option must be SELECTED and PAID for at time of registration.
USA Hockey:
Registration with USA Hockey and MA Hockey is a requirement of the North Devil’s program.
Registration with USA Hockey does not open until April 1, 2016. At that time, you will need to go to USA Hockey online to complete their registration process. You will then need to mail a hard copy of your confirmation page to: North Devils, 50 Juniper Rd., B1, North Attleboro, MA 02760 no later than May 1st. The anticipated USA Hockey Cost is estimated to be $48.00 for the 2016-17 season.
